Baby & Kids Boiled Merino Wool Jacket - Rose

Disana's boiled wool jackets are the perfect year round style, no wonder they are a bestseller. The many simple features of this jacket make it perform quite unlike any other. This is the item your child will wear again and again and hopefully pass it down for generations to come. 


Featuring knitted ribbed cuffs for comfort and to keep the cold air out. Two side pockets are prefect for keeping hands warm as well as for storing important treasures, and a simple front button fastening which helps with fine motor skills and gives a beautiful traditionally authentic aesthetic.

This boiled wool is light and flexible, yet very warm. Windproof and dirt resistant, we use it all year round, in the coldest months with a wool sweater underneath and with a shell jacket over the top for snow and rain protection, when waterproofing is needed. However the density of boiled wool allows it to withstand a light rain shower without the wearer getting wet or cold. The body of this jacket is cut longer at the back to keep vital organs warm during play and movement and has a generous organic cotton lined hood which we love for the colder days. 

This Jacket is mostly unlined and made from one cosy layer of wool. The material being 100% wool allows it to be insulating as well as breathable and to be easy to care for. The pockets and hood are lined in a soft cotton jersey for additional comfort.
